Naumi Hotel, Auckland Airport

The original Hotel Grand Chancellor desperately needed a complete overhaul, inside and out. To create a distinctive boutique hotel, embracing the Naumi brand's playful, youthful, and considered ideals, they embarked on a transformation. The first directive was to infuse the space with the essence of Naumi, ensuring every detail reflected uniqueness. The second directive aimed to craft an exhilarating hotel experience that engaged all the senses, avoiding anything white in favour of vibrant colours, textures, and energy. The renovation covered reception, bar, lounges, restaurant areas, and bedrooms, striking a delicate balance between comfort and wonder. Additionally, they designed two icon-inspired suites: the eclectic Ziggy Suite, inspired by Missoni's vibrant colours and prints, and the riotous Dottie Suite, referencing Yayoi Kusama's polka dot artworks. With a focus on luxury and playfulness, each space was curated to deliver a memorable and exceptional experience, setting this hotel apart.
