Sand Cloud Pavilion

Hidden among the dunes of Te Arai, the Sand Cloud Pavilion is a refined coastal retreat. Anchored in concrete and zinc, its linear form is designed to weather with its surroundings. A symmetrical floor plan places bedroom suites at either end, with an open-plan living space in the center. Floor-to-ceiling glazing captures sweeping ocean views, while seamless detailing preserves the clean architectural lines. Inside, warm American maple contrasts with the pre-weathered zinc façade. The ensuite features the Niagara Belle Freestanding Bath, Oli 316 Tapware, and Buddy Grab Rails, combining function with understated elegance. Outdoors, cantilevered terraces extend over the sand, enhancing the home’s connection to the landscape.
